Thomas & Oriane open the doors to a charming, authentic country house dating from 1821, carefully restored and revisited as a comfortable holiday home, located on the edge of a lane and a gentle meadow (seasonally welcoming Charolais and Limousin cows from the neighboring farm), a stone's throw from the Voie Verte (passing only 200m away) and the bucolic "Étang de Chaumont" (a soothing natural site ideal for walks and discovering the fauna and flora), very close to the town center of Chatenoy-le-Royal with all amenities (including a supermarket). A residential and agricultural hamlet nestled in a peri-urban area in the heart of the gentle, rolling Chalonnaise countryside, combining viticulture, agriculture, and nature (partly protected as a ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), nestled among beautiful wild forests (including two vast "state forests" nearby, literally "green lungs" of the area, perfect for relaxing walks or mountain biking), meadows, and vineyard hillsides (the first vineyards are 5 km away). A very comfortable cottage. Warm, contemporary country character, enhanced by some traces of the original building (stone wall and lintel). A cozy, Zen, and very gentle atmosphere. Fully equipped with quality materials. A pleasant little garden with garden furniture, naturally shaded by the trees.
