Visit Alnwick, 9 miles, with its castle, enchanting water gardens and cobbled streets or venture along the coast to Bamburgh or Dunstanburgh castles. Take a boat trip over to the Farne Islands to visit the puffins or cross the causeway to Holy Island when the tide is out. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Very comfortable stay

We had a lovely stay recently at this cottage. It is located in a quiet area and not far from the A1 so ideal for travelling around the area. We settled in so quickly and the cottage had everything we needed especially for cooking meals. The log burner was perfect for spending time sitting in front of relaxing after a wet day out and about. I couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough for a relaxing break away. A real home from home experience.
