It was a nice and spacious hotel, however the people above us have kids and running around and maybe playing until 12 midnight and it was loud footsteps that u can really hear . Even the door next door you can hear them. I didn’t complain bec i think we saw that one of the kids has special needs so its okay for us. Another thing i always carry toiletries with us but since its the last leg of our trip we decided to use the hotel’s supplies but the conditioner is empty, only 1 roll of toilet paper.

One night LaQuinta at Lookout Mtn

My family of four stayed at this small four-story LaQuinta on 3rd floor for one night. The positives are convenient parking lot, clean welcoming lobby with area attraction info and coffee station, complimentary basic breakfast, overall clean hotel. The negatives are unkempt pool, in our room we had broken towel bar, toilet that moves and not secured, missing sink faucet sprayer, low volume conditioner, weak or nonexistent exhaust fan, and loud air conditioner.

The elevator had dog urine on the floor. Housekeeping tried to come in our room at 7:30 am and jolted us out of bed. Then my husband tripped over our suitcase, fell and skinned his knees and pulled a muscle in his back. The same lady tried to come in and clean our room two more times while we were still in there. The lady at the front desk did not offer to give us a refund. I contacted Travelocity to try and get a refund and they would not help us either. They said the hotel would not answer the phone therefore they couldn’t give us a refund.

The hotel was fairly new and the room was nice. The staff needs some additional customer customer relations training. The gentlemen that checked me in did his job but was unenthusiastic. The overnight clerk was rude. When i walked back in from walking my dog early this morning he very rudely told me I couldn't have the dog in that area, which is not in the kitchen but 10 steps from the front door.

The smell of dampness was so strong that my daughter felt unwell. She has asthma and got dizzy with the bad smell when she entered the room. We had to make another reservation at that moment in another hotel because we couldn't risk her health.

I have been charged with $200 for a day. Two queen bed room was allocated. Room was not clean and was able to see cockroaches in the bathroom. Swimming pool was very small and not clean. Morning breakfast was poor and not much options for $200 worth of stay. Front desks stop was rude and not responsive. Really disappointed with the overall stay.
