Swings and pétanque court are available, along with equipment. Non-smoking accommodation. This cottage, located in a hamlet, was renovated in [hidden] in keeping with traditional construction. Don't forget to visit the village of Cheillé, where you'll notice the three-hundred-year-old oak tree that grew through the church walls at the Château de l'Islette (the site of Camille Claudel's and Auguste Rodin's passionate love affair).
A perfect setting for hiking in the Chinon Forest, [hidden] meters away (near the GR3), and numerous hiking and cycling trails (the Indre by bike in the heart of the Indre Valley, so dear to Balzac). Canoeing and kayaking on the Indre River are also available.
Close to the Châteaux of Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Langeais, Rigny-Ussé, Chinon, Rivau, and Saché. A stone's throw from the troglodyte village and basketry of Villaines-les-Rochers, the pear tapée in Rivarennes, and the riverside village of Bréhémont.
