BUG INFESTATION (INCL THE BED) AND NO RUNNING WATER We booked a suite, by far the most expensive accommodation in the area, and could not have anticipated that we would spend the first night in a room filled with bugs, 2 of the 3 days without any running water and no hot water for the entire stay. We advised the hotel of the bugs in the room. They claimed that they fumigated every day (a concern in itself- why is fumigation necessary every day if the hotel is kept clean?), and that they would move us to a clean/new room immediately. When we returned late at night we found our bags unmoved, still in the original contaminated room! They then moved us next door after repeated requests. We also advised reception that there was no water, in the shower, toilet or sink, and they said they would ensure it was fixed. The next morning there was still no running water. On the last morning a very light shower was able to be had, but with cold water; hot water was not available at any time throughout our stay. We advised the hotel of our concerns throughout our stay, but there was no rectification beyond moving rooms after the first night. We requested a refund for a stay that was not at the standard expected from the advertised room. They advised that they would not be offering any refund and best they could do is offer us a free lunch! Unbelievable. When I wrote to the hotel after the stay they again declined refund other than a discounted future stay. We will not be going back!

Good Resort with nice facilities

Opposite to MGM. Nice resort with games; Rooms were spacious and clean; Mosquitoes were a problem even with AC on; Breakfast was good. Few restaurants and plenty of activities available nearby.

Very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was probably nice two decades ago but has fallen into sad disrepair. The reception desk staff had a very poor understanding of English. I am taking into account the fact that they were still cleaning up from the cyclone a week ago. That being said, the manager was as helpful as he could be.

I really had an very worst experience with the hotel staffs. The reception guy doesn't know how to handle a customer he was such an arrogent guy who doesn't deserve to be in the reception. once if you go out any where, they will check out the room without even checking with you, they will not be bother even if luggage remains in the room. rooms are average, food is good.

My horror day

Hôtel Green Coconut Resort, Mutukaddu, Tamil Nadu, India : à déconseiller

Hôtel en cours de rénovation, les chambres sont peu confortables, et peu propres. Les environs sont catastrophiques, car en cours d'urbanisation, mais pauvres. La plage est à quelques kilomètres et inaccessible autrement qu'en taxi, vu la circulation des voitures juste devant l'hôtel. De plus, il est bruyant, car fréquenté par des groupes qui viennent y fêter on ne sait quoi. Nous avons du nous en enfuir le jour même de notre arrivée, malgré l'offre d'une suite au lieu d'une chambre simple. A déconseiller absolument. (et en plus il est à 25 Km de Mahabalipuram, et non à 16 km comme annoncé).
