Just a place to lay down for a night

I booked this hotel as a last minute alternate to my preferred local hotel and I was disappointed. The room smelled stale and/or musty when I entered and it never quite dissipated. The complimentary toiletries had already been opened and used by a previous guest and the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned (seals left where previous guest unsealed the toiletries in the shower). For a "mountain view deluxe", it was neither deluxe or much of a view.

Seemed quite worn out. I booked because of good ratings, but it did not reflect the 9.0 rating. Beds were uncomfortable. Pillows were flat. Floor felt very unclean. Needs an upgrade for sure.

Great Stay

From check-in to check-out the experience was great. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, very basic, no big friles, but in reality who needs them. It was perfect. I would have preferred getting a paper receipt, instead of email.

The staff couldn't have been nicer and the room was clean ready a little bit early and convenient. I walked to the town/village which was very quaint and fun. On a side note I'm not a big casino guy but the odds seemed very much in the favor of the house. But the restaurant Brio was excellent Pork chops are worth the freight.
