Clean and quiet area, friendly staff

The hotel room was spacious. Lots of room. It's close to the bus station (about 5-10 minutes or so walking) which is convenient if you are taking an ADO bus. It's in a quiet neighborhood which is nice. You need to walk about 10-15 minutes to get to the town centre where all the restaurants and bars are located. Staff was friendly.

Rooms are huuuge, clean and comfortable. Pool area is great. Communal kitchen is ok. Coffee every morning (if you like it). Could use a few more pots and pans for long term stays. Staff are awesome. So kind, friendly and very hard working.

DO NOT STAY HERE

This place should not be rented out to guest! The day we arrived I asked for a quiet room they assigned me to the 3rd floor, when I walked in the room I was shocked to see rat droppings everywhere!!! It was all over the floor, restroom, even on the bed sheets It was so disgusting! I immediately went to the lobby to let them know & offer me another room also on the 3rd floor but all the rooms were all the same full of rat droppings the front office person admitted that they have issues with rodents & that I would be better off by staying on the first floor because the rodents seem to have taken over the third floor. I really wanted to cancel & booked somewhere else but because Bacalar is a very small town there aren’t many hotels & everything was booked specially because I was here during spring break....Never again will I stay here & I also hope no one stays here I’ll be posting pics

Good Choice

The room was clean and the hotel was well maintained and looked fairly new. I was able to park my car inside the hotel. The hotel receptionist was resourceful and accessible.

STAY HERE!!!

We loved our 2 night stay--wish it were longer!!! Staff were all very helpful & so friendly! We really appreciated that they could speak English or they used their phone translator--So nice of them!!! The room was very clean, spacious, & modern!! Our fav was having a fridge and the pool was clean & awesome! Close to bus station, Cenotes, & beautiful Lagoon & Cocalitas beach! I definitely recommend this hotel & Bacalar!!!😊

The hotel was OK The room is big and nice Its clean, but little bit smelling. The stuff was nice. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the lake and its not in the center. Its 5 min walk from the ADO bus station.
