The room was overall very clean and spacious. We did spot some mold under objects in the bathroom which we asked them to clean. There was a tiny balcony with a table and chairs facing the side of a building but otherwise nice to have. The staff had made towel elephants which were very cute. Overall, the room was very nice and above my expectations.
The staff, overall, was very helpful. From their quick response to an email asking for a conveniently located room, which they did grant, to the breakfast dining staff which bent backwards to satisfy us. When I indicated that I loved one of their soups, they made a special bowl for me everyday. Out only disappointment was when we asked for extra towels and they said we couldn't get extra sets unless we bring back dirty ones. After we asked the housemaid to provide extra ones, which she did, the desk asked us to hand back the extra ones.
The location is centrally located in the Old City so excellent to check out all corners and perfect if one can walk a few miles. However, there is not much within a block or two so, if one can't walk much, then that is a serious problem.
