The apartment is located on the second floor of a typical and prestigious Genoese house on the sea promenade in Chiavari. It has been recently renovated with fine finishes and quality furnishings. It consists of a large and bright living room facing the sea with TV, double sofa bed and well-stocked library at guests' disposal, fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven and washing machine, double bedroom and bathroom with shower stall. Dishes, bed and bath linens, hair dryer, clothesline and some food essentials (milk, coffee, sugar, cookies), as well as detergent and shower shampoo are available to guests. This was an excellent place to stay during our week on the Italian Riviera. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for self catering, although there are also plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. The train station is a mere 10 minutes walk away and it makes sense to use the trains to travel up and down the coast as places can get very busy. To go into the mountains however, you will want a car and the parking that comes with the apartment is convenient and secure. Chiavari itself is a revelation with a fascinating center, all collonaded streets packed with local shops and bars. The owners were very helpful. Contact prior to arrival was good with plenty of information provided on the local area. We would happily stay at this apartment again.
