The overall decor and cleanliness of the hotel and guest room was great, bed was very comfortable which is not always the case even in the nicest of hotels. Staff were also very friendly and helpful since this was my first time to the Chicago area. Was disappointed with Food & Beverage options and availability, especially Breakfast! For a full service hotel, which is what it seemed to me this was when I booked, this hotel is missing that huge element! I’d really love to know how much Room service breakfast is actually being ordered when you can’t even order until 8am! Way too late for people who need to get off and out for their day, which was the case for me. This hotel could have a better Profit margin by offering a simple breakfast buffet to its guests starting at 6:30am, perhaps something to consider. I would not chose to stay here again because of this simple lack of option.

The front desk is pretty rude - feel like there’s a true lack of customer service. If you have to speak to them it almost feels like you are annoying them. The rooms are surface level clean but very dusty and I had a dead fly in mine. All in all I don’t think you get what you pay for staying here. It doesn’t give 4 star or even 3 star hotel when looking at customer service of the staff and quality of the cleaning (and lack of amenities).

Barking dog in next room. Changed to another room and a party was noisy and using foul language until 2am. Room not cleaned on of the days. Motion light in bath woke up spouse at night. Bright nightlight in electrical outlet was annoying. While it wasn’t too noisy there was a wedding reception that started after 10pm.

During our 2 day stay there was no shampoo, soap for the shower, or conditioner provided either day. They did not replenish the complimentary candy by the bed or coffee pods after consuming them the first day. Beds were comfortable. Very large tv in the room. Room was clean. A/C unit had very loud/annoying sound whenever fan was running. Louder as fan speed increased. They are trying for a luxury experience but miss overall. Still a very nice and clean facility.

Room was asthetically beautiful. However the cleanliness could’ve been a bit better. The window sill had a few dead insects, the bathroom had some hair on the floor and in the shower. Also we were inconveniently placed on the second floor above the ballroom and a wedding reception was going on til after midnight. We heard every song, all the bass and the DJ. We heard guests around us and above us slamming doors and walking loudly about at 2am. We came for a mini staycation for our anniversary and the lack of rest we were able to get was disappointing. I did let the front desk know about this twice but wasn’t met a resolve. Just an apology and a “the entire hotel is booked” in case I wanted to switch rooms. The next night it was the same thing with a different event. So although this hotel is new and beautiful the walls and floors are SUPER THIN. Do with that information what you will. I heard entire conversations smh.
