Chicago trip

Very cheap hotel for it's location, you pay for what you get, nothing special just a place to rest for a night but in very short distance from all of chicagos tourist attractions!

Simple, good value

The cheapest hotel I could find, and not remotely as terrible as some of the reviews suggest. The hotel is just a few minutes from the Cermak/ Chinatown stop of the red line, and you can be in the Loop in 10 minutes. Staff have been very helpful and friendly. My room was spacious enough and clean. OK, some of the bedlinen was a bit threadbare, the wifi can be slow, some lightbulbs were gone in the bathroom and the shower cubicle is a bit barren- but everything functions, there's a telly and there's hot water. This was much better than similar cheap hotels I've had in big cities in Europe. I'd stay there again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Friendly staff but very cold

I just spent the night there, it was so cold and though I used the extra heating to be able to sleep, the restroom was freezing. The rest room was clean.

Tullessani puolen yön aikaan hiukan tyly vanhempi mies vastaanotossa ei hyväksynyt luttokorttejani, jotka kyllä kävivät seuraavassa hotellissa ja autovuokraamossa, vaan jouduin maksamaan käteisellä. Hotellissa ei ole hissiä ja portaat kapeat ja jyrkähköt. Hiukan nuhraantuneessa huoneessa oli uutta ikkunat, ilmastointilaite ja televisio. Aamiainen ei kuulu hintaan, mutta alhaalla oli huone, jossa oli jääkaappi omien eväiden säilytykseen ja mikroaaltouuni, sieltä sai myös aina kahvia. Ympäristössä on paljon kiinalaisravintoloja. Itse hain aamiaileipäni Tous les Jours nimisestä leipomosta. Hotelli sijatsee mielenkiintoisessa kiinalaiskaupunginosassa, lähellä Cermak-Chinatown -punaisen linjan metroasemaa, jossa kuitenkaan kaikki Express-junat ei pysähdy. Myös vihreän linjan Cermak-McCormick on lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä.
