The location was great for us as we had activities in the Wicker Park and Buck Town area. The apartment was clean, kitchen very nice, bed comfortable, and TV/Wi-Fi easily accessible. Recommend a different couch as it nearly sits on the floor and uncomfortable after a long day walking and out-and-about. The parking that is included is a big plus! Would stay here again.I did have questions regarding the exact address for our location and possible early access, but I did not get a response when text was sent. The Orange U-Haul drop box referenced in property access directions is no longer there. It is now replaced with black mailbox just to inform your next guests.

A very nice and clean apartment in a great location. The neighborhood feels safe and the back alley parking was perfect. The blue line for the train is just a few blocks away that will take you anywhere in the city. We will definitely be staying again!

This apartment was everything we were looking for - great location, free parking, comfortable and clean and cute! My daughter and I felt safe here, and were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Mario was easy to contact, responded immediately, and was helpful and friendly when we accidentally locked ourselves out (oops!). Would definitely stay again!

The place and the location was great. Our host was very responsive when we texted him. The reason I can't give it 5 stars is because someone above us was moving furniture and banging around until midnight on our first night. I talked with our host and he talked to the tenant above and we had no issues the next night. It might have been a fluke.

How do I leave less than one star?

I don’t have anything good to say about this place. After I showed up, the key was not in the lockbox so I contacted the host to figure out what was going on. At that moment I was told that he had double booked with another platform and I was left to fend for myself on the weekend of the Chicago marathon after I’d booked this place 5 months before the trip. He refused to cancel the booking until I called vrbo support and then he said he cancelled because I, (at 33 years old) didn’t meet the minimum age requirement. The host, Mario, didn’t take any responsibility for the mistake and totally shifted all the blame to everyone but himself. Spare yourself, and find another place with accountable hosts before you end up spending 3x as much booking this place and then a hotel.

Great location & amenities

This property has great amenities and perfect location for exploring Chicago. The check in process was smooth and secure and the hosts provided everything you could need. Close to grocery stores & restaurants and less than 10 min from the Blue Line. My only complaint is that the walls are quite thin and we could hear the upstairs residents walking around until late into the evening which may disturb lighter sleepers. Otherwise I highly recommend this rental and would utilize it again.

Back Again!

This was our 2nd stay at this unit! Close proximity to our son's place makes it an ideal location for us, but the great space, free parking, ease of check-in/out, & good communication with the hosts are just as important to the overall great experience. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home in a great area.

Beautifully decorated property in a nice neighborhood. Walking options to many restaurants, coffee shops & a market. A short walk to the transit station allowed for easy access to the city without having to deal with parking. Happy we found this lovely property.

Clean, plenty of space

clean, with plenty of space in the common area and kitchen. Comfy queen size bed. Fairly easy to get to the el station -- about 10 min walk. The 606 hiking/biking/running trail I would recommend and it's an easy walk/run to the trail access. Very nice grocery store across the street. Some nice restaurants in walking distance. Seemed like a safe neighborhood.
