Best Stay in the Area!

The best stay in the area! We stay in hotels surrounding this area frequently due to our Six Flags trips. This Hampton is our favorite place to stay! It consistently has excellent service, it's very clean, and the breakfast is good/offers a variety of food.

Smelled like a Men’s Locker Room with Stinky Shoes

Arrived Wednesday August 13, 2025 late in the evening. We were given a room on the ground floor. We were extremely tired and ready to go to bed. Immediately after opening the door to the room, the smell of stinking shoes, mildew, or even body odor made the hair in our nose curl!! It was absolutely atrocious. Went immediately to the front desk to get another room and was told that no other room was available. We asked for a box fan and only because we were pressed for time to test, stayed in the room. We were there from 11:30 pm Wednesday to Thursday August at 5:00 am. When I initially went to complain about the smell in the room and asked the desk clerk to come smell the room, he immediately said he believed me!!! I guess so, we probably were not the only people to complain about that room!! Had to pick up head cold medication the next day, because all of us had stuffy noses from the foul smell in the darn room. Had to request another room the next day. No problem getting it, but absolutely no mention of taking anything off the price of that disgusting room.

I was impressed with the customer service that I received once I arrived in the lobby by Yesnia. She was very professional, kind, and accommodating with me and my family. Food options were great, that's why we always book with Hampton Inn. The beds and room were welcoming and clean.

Room was dirty. Although I mentioned it they didn’t clean it. The carpet was dirty and I nearly tripped over it. The Manager had a horrible attitude along with staff. The breakfast ended at 9 although the website said 10. The breakfast they had if it finished they wouldn’t refill so it’s first come first serve. I don’t recommend this place AT ALL. Will never stay again.

With the exception of the guest room, all the carpet, in the lobby and hallways was warpped and dirty. The bathroom floor was grimey, grout was filthy. No hair determinado and a low supply of towels,no wash cloths.
