The overall facility is fine. lobby area and breakfast area is large. Room is large. However, it's next to a freeway and train track, so noise is an issue if you are sensitive to it. The overall service needs to be better trained and managed. Room service is either slow or not available. Only one of the two elevators operates and is very slow sometimes.

We loved the place and the guy who checked us in on Sunday night! But on Monday morning, my husband went to the front desk to request one add'l bath towel and was told Housekeeping would bring it to the room. I called again about an hour later and was told same thing. It never came.

Hotel or night club?

There is a restaurant bar at the hotel that plays very loud music until 2:00 in the morning. I stayed on the 3rd floor and the bass would rattle the mirror in the bathroom. I made it impossible to get a good rest. Not what one should expect from Holiday Inn.

We had to find a hotel one day earlier than originally planned because part of our itinerary fell through. The Holiday Inn Express filled that gap perfectly, it was a lovely place to stay for two very tired travelers.

Great breakfast! Clean rooms. I wish they put trash can liners in the bathroom. I’d highly recommend. We didnt use the pool or other amenities because were mostly exploring places but but overall the hotel is clean and good value.

Great value option close to O'Hare airport. The property is in excellent condition and very clean, and the room I had was comfortable. The free daily breakfast was good - not a huge spread but more than enough to get me going for the day. There is no shuttle service from the airport but note that you can take the O'Hare airport transit system from the terminals to the rental car centre, and walk a couple of blocks from there - it's flat all the way so easy to do with luggage. Overall I was very satisfied.
