A Hidden Gem Outside of The Ciry

Very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable bed, and I really liked how there is a refrigerator in the room. The only downside was that the water in the shower was not hot enough for me (I enjoy SUPER hot water LOL). The free breakfast was amazing! Lots of great offerings for different diet types - and I really loved the make your own waffle station. While I did not get to use the pool or fitness center, both areas were clean and well maintained. It was a busy weekend and yet the staff remained efficient and very friendly.

I booked the property and it was supposed to be $110 with tax and fees. I asked if my room could be changed from a king to two queen size beds, and they said that would not be a problem. What they failed to do was disclose to me that it was going to be $54 more, had they disclosed that I would not have changed my room. Everybody was very nice at the hotel, and the hotel itself is excellent clean, excellent breakfast…. The staff is friendly. Just be sure if you ask for any changes you specifically ask if there is going to be a price difference because they probably will not disclose it.

A solid choice for Homewood

This was a clean and friendly location. Be wary of your map system when turning into the parking lot. Apple Maps directed me to turn the wrong way into an 'exit only' for the parking lot next to the hotel. Once you're in the parking lot, it's a breeze.

Mixed bag

Mixed review because the service and staff were nice. However, I only got 2 hrs of sleep because i had loud music on one side and loud TV on the other until around 4 am. Walls are so thin!! Hotel newer just disappointed.

Stayed in King Suite with kids for the weekend, room was clean and large. Shower doors are incredibly hard to open and close; it is very easy to slip or fall when trying to get in and out of the shower. The hotel seemed to be pretty full, with that being said: There was little to no attention to having stocked towels in the pool area, despite two staff members walking through two seperate times and one request from our party. We didn’t grab one immediately as we walked in and one family alone took every single towel that was left. It was not fun having two shivering kids and myself running through the halls to get back to our room (without any towels). Then there was breakfast. We had strict schedules to meet (the reason for our travel) and breakfast was never ready on time (15 or so minutes late) which is a bummer when I booked this hotel because of their advertised breakfasts. When we attempted to grab something just “to go” so we didn’t have to stop for fast food, yet again a whole family walked through and took every item. I am not kidding. One mom of the family stood guard at the waffle maker just making waffles for her family for at least 20 minutes so we couldn’t even make a quick waffle to go. I seriously hate complaining, but it was pretty obvious what was happening and staff did not help at all to accommodate my family or the four other families that had to leave without breakfast. Very clear staff is unable to accommodate when they book a lot of families.

Clean and Convenient to Chicago

We stayed one night after the Chicago Auto Show. It was only about 15 mins from downtown Chicago and convenient off the interstate. Property was very clean and had updated smart TV and tech in room (USB plugs, etc.) Plenty of hot water and pressure and bedding was clean and comfy. Breakfast was not bad at all for free continental. Bisquit's and gravy was really good, oatmeal, sauage, selection of cereals (a bit light on fruit). Staff at check-in was very pleasant. There were several restaurants and shopping just 3 - 5 minutes away. Area was quiet and safe. I woudl stay here again.
