Great hotel and great service! Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Mag mile area. The breakfast buffet was really good and convenient. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

This was my first time staying. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice and perfectly located downtown. Also, the breakfast buffet was amazing and a nice surprise.

Enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient to Mag Mile destinations. Staff were friendly, hotel lobby smelled so good. Only challenge was the wifi connection was not great, otherwise would stay here again.

The Hotel was very clean and the rooms were updated. The location is great very walkable and close to public transportation. The staff were not very friendly or helpful. Our biggest complaint would be the host at the breakfast buffet. We sat down for the included buffet breakfast which in itself is very hard to navigate. It’s extremely busy and chaotic. The host scolded me and spoke so rudely to me for leaving with a piece of toast and a piece of fruit. I didn’t really eat at the buffet because I have a medical condition I asked an employee if I could take the little bowl I made with me. He said no problem. I assumed he was a manager by the way he was dressed and how accommodating he was. However the next morning I was so embarrassed by the host. He scolded me again for leaving the day before with food, he just could not let it go m . He said I needed to read the sign pointed to a sign.

We really love this hotel. The only two things were the additional facilities fee which we didn’t know and I’ve never seen before and also there is no ice machine, which is a pain if you are traveling.

Resort vibes in Chi town

Loved the resort vibes of the hotel. Loved the aesthetics and the rooftop. Staff very friendly. Wonderful gym. Made me consider booking a RIU in the Caribbean. My only con was there was no hotel microwave, but you get a mini fridge. Sometimes you can't finish all the great food you have in Chicago, and I couldn't warm it up later. I was able to take some food back with me to Mississippi, the rest I had to discard.

The Breakfast Buffet ( included with your stay ) was a real surprise. Reminded us of the ones when we stay at all inclusive resorts when it comes to breafast options. The food was fantastic and the staff was very attentive cleaning and seating everyone quickly. Rooms were really nice, comfortable bed, bathroom was laid out really well. Super clean hotel that we would definitely recommend & stay at again when returning to Chicago

The location of the hotel right off Michigan Avenue was perfect. Public parking right across the street. The hotel is fresh and new. Many staff available to assist. Do not skip the complimentary breakfast! I would easy pay $20 for that breakfast as it had everything from fresh fruit, real eggs, pastries, even a coffee cream warmer/frother machine for the great coffee!

The location of the property is very nice, the rooms are decent and clean. However, staff aren't overly service oriented. Would recommend if you are simply looking for a conveniently located hotel along/just off the magnificent mile or if you have a family that is looking to have a decent breakfast included with your stay (think all inclusive hotels in Mexico style).

It is an average Hotel for a property which was built just over a year ago nothing remarkable. Breakfast was basic and no taste to it. Rooms were small and bathroom shower stall was dirty. Shower head had a weak pressure. No toiletries because of Illinois Ban. I think hotel gave me a bad room on 3rd floor because of one day stay. Well had taste of RIU branded hotel. Never going back.

The property was nice and clean and the staff was pretty helpful. The one complaint I have is that I think RIU should tell their guest once they check in that they have to make reservations for the roof top. The roof top was one of my reasons for booking this hotel and I wasn’t told that I have to make reservations until the next day when I asked about going to the rooftop. Well to my surprise when I was given the information to book my reservations, the rooftop was booked both days that I was there so I never got a chance to visit it.
