The room was spotless, and the bed offered exceptional comfort. The hotel has a fantastic location easy to navigate and situated in a vibrant area of town. Each morning, the breakfast buffet served up delicious options that changed daily. The staff were consistently kind, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable. A particular highlight: on the 28th floor there’s a beautiful terrace featuring cozy fires, drinks, food service, and incredible views, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery.

The lobby was beautiful and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However a large shortcoming in my opinion is the lack of food and dining services available. If the bar is closed and the 2 complimentary waters are gone, there is literally nothing to drink on the premises. There is no 24/7 “grab and go” not even a vending machine. With how much money it cost to stay, customers shouldn’t have to leave for a bottle for water. Also the interior hallways of the hotel look very lifeless like an office/suite space.

Bedroom & bathroom very clean.The shower was wonderful! Lots of clean fluffy towels. Hot breakfast was good with a big choice of foods. I like the fact that staff accompanied us to the table. The rooftop bar was amazing and heated. My only thought would be, please put some tea sachets in the room... as not everyone drinks coffee. We would definitely recommend the Riu!

We had a great stay at the Riu Hotel in Chicago! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tje cleanliness of the room stood out to me the most! Lastly, the breakfast buffet was great with a variety of food. I will be definitely coming back to Riu!

Stunning hotel without the amenities one would expect. This hotel lacks a restaurant for a sit down hot meal outside of appetizers. The hotel additionally charges a fee for service upon arrival and a $100 resort fee. For many this may bring stress and financial hardship. Not sure why the hotel charges a resort fee yet be aware. The hotel staff were friendly yet knew little about where amenities were located. Outside of the add on sticker shock this is a stunning hotel.
