Very clean hotel. Great free breakfast with lots of options and everything was labeled with allergens, which I appreciated. The shower had extremely low water pressure and without a door or curtain, it felt very cold. Hard to wash thick hair. Beds were very comfortable. Towels were soft and a nice size.

100% Excellence at Riu

The Riu Chicago was absolutely amazing! The hotel employees offered exceptional service. They were gracious, patient, and prompt. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar offered a fabulous view of the city and our waitress was very friendly. The resort style breakfast was a great addition to our stay with many food options no matter your diet preferences. The location couldn’t have been better with all downtown attractions within a 10-minute walking distance in each direction. We were also located just one block from a convenience store, nail salon, barber shop, UPS store, and eateries. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Riu and highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Chicago.

Decor was very inviting., staff friendly and attentive, rooms cleaned daily. They have a very nice and tasty complimentary breakfast with a spread of options for anyone. IIts easily accessible to Michigan Ave shopping, restaurants and popular attractions. We avoided parking cost by using Lyft for options that were further away. We didnt get to explore the rooftop option due to weather but we do plan to return.
