We really appreciated the location of this property, which is in a nice neighborhood and not far (by foot, automobile or rail) to anything we wanted to do in Chicago. The unit is comfortable and well-appointed, with all the appliances and gear for living like you would at home. There is a little nook that was perfect for setting up my computer and working remotely. We didn't really take advantage of the outdoor area behind the house, but it looked very inviting. Arrival and departure were a breeze. The bedrooms are pretty small, which wasn't a problem for us, but something worth noting. Also, the place is very dark because the houses are close together and not a lot of sunlight gets in. Parking is a challenge, but I suppose that's big city living. Overall this place has a nice feel: It seems like a house with history that's been lived in, rather that a sanitized, generic, bland income property. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
