The kitchen was will equipped. The sidewalks were cleared via an exorbitant amount of a 'salt' compound. The toilet wouldn't flush due to the chain coming off of the handle... I had to fix that. Also the bathroom door is hard to shut... the door needs an adjustment. Other than that, it was a nice, clean, good-sized suite room. It is a pretty friendly hotel... if you have the extra $100. That seems a bit excessive to me

The front desk staff and on site staff were all very friendly. My room was clean and they were accommodating to both my cat and my situation-I needed a late check-out because of work being completed at my home and they allowed me to extend it until 4pm on a Friday.

My husband and I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Chicago Deerfield from August 9th to 10th, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. After the overwhelming process of purchasing a new home, we desperately needed a peaceful getaway — and this hotel gave us exactly that. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The front desk staff member who checked us in was incredibly cheerful, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. His friendly attitude set the tone for our entire stay, and the thoughtful welcome gift was a pleasant surprise that we truly appreciated. Our room was spotless, cozy, and felt just like home — exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I absolutely would. It’s by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the future.
