Stupendous stay

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in! The outstanding art everywhere including the bathrooms, the exquisite decor and design, the impeccable service, immaculate rooms beautifully appointed and lit. The excellent food, make this hotel a jewel. I know where I’ll be in Chicago when. Visit next! I wish that they were in every city in the US and abroad !

What a wonderful hotel! My family and I had a perfect stay at the Sophy. We found our room ample in size and very well-appointed. Staff were helpful. The neighborhood was charming and very safe. We’ll definitely stay here on our next trip to Chicago!

Staff is top notch. The location is phenomenal and cozy. Parking at the hotel was easy and reasonably priced. The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious. This might become my new go-to Chicago hotel. The room is spacious and so well appointed. There’s a cute record player and two records to play. Honestly it’s giving Blackness and Black Excellence and it’s everything I hoped for in a Hyde Park hotel.

What a pleasant surprise!! Our first time in the Hyde Park area and it was a hidden gem! We were here for ballgames at Rate Field and it was an easy uber ride. Would definitely stay again-and again!!!

By far, the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. Very plush and the rooms were great, the lobby nice and welcoming, food was awesome and the two girls that I talked with at the desk . . . . I loved the Hyde Park neighborhood, you really will experience that in this hotel, not like a sterile downtown environment. Beautiful art everywhere in the hotel, lively restaurant, friendly staff, clean and spacious room, huge shower, can open a window!
