If you enjoy the holidays, this is the place to be! This amazing property is perfect at any time of the year; however, if you are traveling between mid September - early January, you will be welcomed by a festive holiday display on the front exterior the property. The space itself offers 2 bedrooms and 2 amazing bathrooms with higher end finishes. Beautiful modern upgrades throughout. Large kitchen with quartz countertops, which provides seating for 4. The building has a shared large patio with lake views in the front the building. Bath 1 has 4 body sprays and a powerful rain head and Bath 2 has a jetted bathtub/shower combo. In unit laundry & supplies. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, Starbucks, Loyola and the Red line train station. On site garage parking for 1 small to mid sized car is avail. for an addl. $25 daily fee; however, you must reserve at booking. If your car is greater than 200” in length, please reach out to host well in advance to confirm if your vehicle will fit. We have access to a second garage space that is slightly bigger; however, the space gets booked up quickly, so you must confirm well in advance. For those who have larger pick up trucks, you will likely have a difficult time finding a place to park, as Chicago is dense and parking is limited; however, please reach out to the host and she will check to see if there are alternative parking options available. Exterior security cameras are present at the property. The camera locations are (2) in the front of the building, (2) on the east side, (1) on the west side of the building and (2) in the alley on the garage. The front door intercom also has a camera with audio capacity built in to the intercom system. There are no cameras in the interior space.

I just love this neighborhood and the location. Everything is updated and works properly as van listed, shower is fantastic. The property is about a 2 to 3 minute walk to the beach. Love it.

Red Sox getaway

We were in town to celebrate my husband’s birthday by going to Wrigley to see our Red Sox play. We arrived later from our flight but the manager had everything set up and had communication throughout! The place in a safe neighborhood and was updated and amazing in EVERY WAY! The beach was perfect and right there, the Red Line train is just a short walk away. I can’t say enough good about this place/location. I would definitely book here again!!!

All the comforts of home!

This was a great place to celebrate the holidays. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils to make Christmas dinner and we had plenty of room to gather for game night. Beds were comfy and all amenities were in good condition. The apartment looks brand new! Loved the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers in the shower! Will definitely be back next Christmas. Wonderful - would absolutely come back again!

So clean and welcoming with a terrific location just steps from a lovely beach! The property was very clean, comfortable and well-kept, and looked like the kitchen and bathrooms had been recently re-done (loved the tile and fixtures!). The shower in the master is a spa-like experience! Great communication with the owner, too. So happy with our stay, and we would absolutely look forward to saying here again!

Annual Friend Adventure

My east coast BFF and I meet some where in the States each year. This year we selected Chicago. We ended up staying at the Holiday Lake House! It was amazing. We were close to the beach, close to the city, close to neighborhood bars and restaurants. Communication was easy! Everything was wonderful.

Great Stay

Very clean and well thought out/supplied apartment on a lovely street a 30 second walk to Lake Michigan. There are 2 bedrooms, one larger master with en suite bathroom, and a second full bathroom and smaller bedroom. The unit is on the bottom floor so windows are high. Diane is friendly and responsive. The walk along the beach & out to an old lighthouse was a bonus. The street has mature trees and people walking dogs. There is a 7-11 on the corner and several restaurants walking distance. Target is near enough for us to walk to get groceries. So it's near some commercial activity but off to the side on a quiet street that ends at the Lake. We feel lucky to have found it, and would certainly stay again.

Wedding Stay

We stayed at this property for my daughter’s wedding. The property is immaculate!! And the location to the lake and beach is wonderful! Unfortunately we didn’t get beach time but if you are looking for this book it!! Our beds were comfy and the apartment was very quiet. Very nice area with easy walkable dining options since you are near Loyola. There is a nice park nearby as well. The host was extremely helpful and responsive and even offered a nail salon nearby for the wedding!! Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms even including a curling iron!! We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book again.

The location of the property is located in a neighborhood setting that was wonderful to take a walk and explore. Close to the Chicago Transportation Authority metro and unique eateries for breakfast and lunch. The properties furnishings and home away from home style was nice to call homebase.

Great Communication, very detailed instructions on accessing the property. Now for our stay, my wife and I just loved this neighborhood.
