Tucked away in the peaceful coastal town of Selsey, West Sussex, this large Georgian holiday home is full of charm, character, and space—making it an ideal choice for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a traditional seaside break with a touch of elegance.

Selsey is a charming seaside town located in West Sussex, known for its relaxed coastal atmosphere, shingle beaches, and rich maritime history. Access to the property is via a smartlock system, giving convenience to arrive whenever suits you. Instructions will be sent 48 hours prior to your stay.
The property is rich in period features, from tall sash windows and original fireplaces to ornate ceiling cornices and wide wooden floorboards, all carefully preserved to maintain its timeless appeal. At the same time, it’s been thoughtfully updated to offer all the modern comforts needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The house offers six generously sized bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 15 guests in 10 beds. The bathrooms are spread throughout the house, including en-suite options, ensuring that no one has to wait in line during busy mornings. There are two living areas on the ground floor, one for more formal seating and the other with a large piano and TV area. The dining area is located in the kitchen with space for 8 comfortable with a separate table for additional guests to gather for meals. The kitchen is well-equipped for large groups, with modern appliances, ample workspace, and everything needed to prepare anything from a quick bite to a full holiday feast.
Outside, the large private back garden is a real bonus—ideal for children to play safely, or for adults to enjoy drinks, games, or meals in the open air. There’s plenty of space for outdoor dining, whether it’s a sunny brunch or a long summer evening barbecue. Selsey beach is located a mile away from the property, with West Wittering beaches just 15 minutes away. With the South Downs and the historic city of Chichester also nearby, the location is perfect for day trips and exploring the wider area. Whether you're planning a week-long holiday, a special celebration, or a weekend escape, this welcoming Georgian house offers space, comfort, and a classic charm that’s hard to beat.
Train: Chichester railway station is the closest rail service to the property with direct services from London Victoria, Gatwick Airport, and other locations. Chichester railway station is also close by. Once you arrive at the station, you would need alternative transport to get to the property.
Bus: There are bus services connecting Selsey to other towns nearby.
Car: If you have access to a car, you can drive to Coles House directly. There is plenty of available off street private parking.
