Easy parking, clean rooms, very nice helpful staff, nice little pool area. The mattresses are very bouncy but we slept fine. The breakfast was cereal, fruit, and make-your-own-waffles; if you prefer bacon & eggs, there are nearby places to eat. I’d go back to this place.

The property itself is severely in need of a refresh and a deep clean… the handicap shower head didn’t fit the bracket so you have to hold it or turn it off mid shower, there were stains on the bedspreads and mildew growing in the grout, the door cards worked on the 3rd or 4th try

The staff were all great. Elizabeth, front desk, was very friendly & helpful in every way. i had booked 3 rooms for a wedding weekend with more people incoming. She handled everyone with great care.(Psst, give that girl a raise). The hotel is older so dont expect new & flashy. Our rooms, the beds. etc were just fine & we loved having 4 pillows per bed. The staff was really friendly! Check-in was easy and pleasant. The room was huge, but the hardwood floor was really dirty and the bottoms of our socks were black after being in the room for a few hours. You can tell the room was older but it served its purpose and we were comfortable otherwise. Breakfast wasn't great because there were no diabetic friendly options. We can't have sugary cereals or waffles but there didn't seem to be a kitchen where the staff could make breakfast so they were just operating within their limitations. if we came back to Chiefland, we would stay here again.

They have a $50 deposit in Addition to the room charge. We were told it wouldn’t be charged if room left ok but we were charged and it took a couple days to return it to us. Breakfast was kind of sparse. I wouldn’t stay there again.
