This small hotel is a Gem. Area is definitely a surfing paradise. We were closing our trip at El Salvador we wanted to visit the capital, mountains and beaches definitely not disappointed. We are not surfers but we enjoy the atmosphere of this hotel is family friendly, great service their open menu for breakfast is a plus’s, is centric and the ocean views & pool very relaxing. I need to express how beautiful this property was. The pictures on websites are exactly as posted. We had the LOFT APARTMENT. Just awesome. Full Kitchen, Living Room, etc. Everything we needed. I could trade my home and just live there forever. The pool is beautiful and every day they prepare a very large lounge chair and umbrella with your name(s) on it. NINA is #1 and runs a great operation. She does everything. We needed some items from the store across the street, and she got there before I did and already had the items on the counter ready to pay for me. I even saw her working on a guest's motorcycle. We felt comfortable with her, like a dear friend. All the staff was Great! I already wrote a review about the restaurant and staff while I was there. We never ate at any other restaurant during our stay. Kudos needs to go out to: Jonathan of Security (On Top of it). Edwin who even before we flew to El Salvador, helped me arrange things and answered questions AND drove us to San Salvador safely after Check-Out. Deysi, Luis, and Adrian also was great! OH, and I can't forget ALEXIS (I named him "The Professor") because he goes over every detail at Check-In and you better be ready and pay attention - take notes - like in school - he takes his job very serious. Which is the way it should be. Great Job! He said that he will always remember me as "The Funny Guy" - I will take that as a compliment - but he was funnier! I hope to meet with all again in the future! Thank you! David

The hotel is located next to a beach that’s good for surfing. The view from its restaurant was great. The food was great. Each staff was kind and friendly. The hotel was very helpful in rescheduling our stay.

Palo Verde, a beautiful boutique hotel, was a stunning setting for my birthday trip to El Salvador. I loved the reserved pool chairs, making it feel uncrowded. The food was fresh and delicious, and the massage was amazing. My loft apartment was spacious with two beds and a full kitchen, and the A/C worked great despite minor power outages. However, the room lacked storage (no closets or drawers), which was very inconvenient. The lounge chair was stained, and the shower had low pressure, though staff did adjust it. While most staff were kind, one server, Manuel, was incredibly rude. I was handed an incorrect bill full of items my friend and I didn’t order. He publicly and loudly accused my friend of not paying, despite the hotel's room billing policy (they charge your room and you pay at the end of your stay). He was dismissive and unapologetic when confronted. We also faced confusion about breakfast inclusions (I was charged for orange juice and water even though those items were supposed to be included) and had to repeatedly request coffee essentials (spoon, sugar, creamer) and correct room service orders. These service issues and room shortcomings impacted an otherwise beautiful stay. Once addressed, Palo Verde will be an even better property.

Excellent hotel

I stayed in 3 different hotels while visiting El Salvador, and this was by far the best. The staff is friendly and attentive, the pool area is beautiful and clean, the room is spacious and comfortable. Their restaurant on site is good, with the breakfast being the best meal I had. Also, I recommend their massage. Overall would stay here many times again.
