There are food places everywhere on chincoteague island, with many within walking distance of the Inn as well as shops. Very well maintained overall. Very friendly staff.

For what the hotel is it’s okay. Clean bed. No bed bugs. The door was poorly installed. Lots of air gaps for bugs and general sound to seep through. It’s on the main strip so there’s plenty to do around. Not bad for a night or two

We had a wonderful stay at The Chincoteague Inn for the 100th Annual Pony Swim! The renovated rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was great. The location works well, especially since the Pony Express Trolley stops right out front. We were also able to walk back from the Carnival Grounds in the evening with a stop at the Island Creamery (a must) which is right around the corner from the Inn. Areas for improvement: wish there was an outside shower at the pool to rinse off. Also the refrigerator in room 301 definitely needs to be replaced—it worked but there was mold around the seams…ick. We would stay again without hesitation.

This was our first stay at Chincoteague Inn and we were very pleased! Great location, nice pool, friendly staff. We were on the third floor which wasn’t ideal but the room was nice and clean, plus the sink and tub NEVER clogged like at another property we’ve stayed at

Came down for the Blueberry Festival and fun at the beach! Hotel was in a great location and staff were very friendly. The pool was a nice distraction in the July heat!

Romeo was SOOO pleasant! Changed my room to a ground floor! Love the huge and unique room!! Romeo (check-in staff) also knew everything about the Horses of Assateague Island. Very fun place. I recommend it highly!!
