NOT pet friendly / Charged without staying

Hotels.com represents this hotel as pet friendly, so I booked and opted to pay at the property. When I arrived, the manager said it was NOT pet friendly, and wouldn’t allow it. The manager said I would “not be charged” and “not to worry” about it. I left and had to find another hotel. I was charged the full amount two days later on top of paying the second hotel for the same night. This hotel is still listed as pet friendly, so beware.

We have vacations at Chincoteague for the past 13 years. This time however our experience was not the best. Best Weatern was bought out by Spark by Hilton. Well, they were transitioning into the new systhey didn’t disclose this during check in

My husband and have chosen to always stay at this hotel over the past 30 years. The staff is top notch, caring, friendly and always helpful. The rooms are always very clean and well appointed. We'll Be Back

This was our sixth time staying at this Best Western. it is the nicest one either of us have ever stayed in. Friendly staff, decent and plentiful breakfast included, clean and comfortable rooms. A lovely outdoor patio and a pool. Best of all is the location, right on the edge of the park.
