In the picturesque historic center of Chioggia , nestled in Calle Malanni , there is “L'Ultimo Venchero” , a tourist location with an authentic flavor. This quiet and fascinating street tells a special story: this is where the last venchero lived, the craftsman who weaved the rush in front of his warehouse, creating handmade baskets and artifacts that spoke of the sea and effort. The location takes its name from this ancient art, which wants to pay homage to a profession that has disappeared but never forgotten.
Going up to the first floor , a welcoming living area opens up , furnished with care: the protagonist is a two-seater sofa with a unique style, suspended between ancient and modern , in a pleasant blue tone that recalls the waters of the lagoon. On the walls, artistic photographs of Chioggia add character and atmosphere, telling glimpses of the city in a poetic and personal way.
The kitchen , separate and very spacious , is super equipped and well equipped with windows , perfect both for those who love to cook and for those who simply want to enjoy a meal in a comfortable and functional environment .
The apartment also has an intimate and comfortable double bedroom , ideal for relaxing after a day among the streets and canals. A small corner dedicated to storing suitcases helps to maintain order and harmony in the spaces .
