I came here for almost 3 weeks to help my son with my grandson while my daughter in law was out of town. I loved the location. So easy to walk downtown for shopping and restaurants. And only a short walk to the bus station. Housekeeping was amazing. I loved coming back at the end of the day to a clean place. Also loved having a washer and dryer.

Central hotel

Very easy check in despite being out of hours. Lovely clean room with comfortable bed. Had all the facilities that were needed for a lovely stay. As this was our last hotel after a few weeks away, it allowed us to get our washing done, going home with clean clothes was an added bonus.

A bit of home, far from home

It’s hard to find fault, it’s modern and equipped with everything you’d want/expect. As someone staying in Christchurch as part of a longer trip across NZ the washer/dryer was well used and laundry powder was supplied & restocked! Also has a reasonably well equipped kitchen if you want to cook from scratch. Or if you want to reheat the microwave is there. The location is perfect, a short walk to the botanic gardens one way. The city centre and food market is just across the street and there are plenty of good cafes around too if you’re craving breakfast (Therapy & Westejd Stories).
