Clean and well-equipped room. There is a kitchen with everything you need, we didn't get to use it. The room was really beautiful and decorated, large and comfortable beds and a luxurious pillow menu so we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The staff was great. Both the night concierge and the day concierge went out of their way to make us comfortable, to meet our needs, and to help us enjoy all that Christchurch has to offer. Big time service from a lovely small hotel.

Beautifully designed and spotless rooms… every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The hotel is conveniently close to the city center and a variety of restaurants. Sam at the front desk is exceptionally attentive, kind, and helpful — truly outstanding customer service. We would definitely stay here again.

The location wasn’t the best for us, the staff was friendly, but our refrigerator didn’t really work well and they tried to make it work better, but it wasn’t great, and it seemed like the prices in their breakfast place were higher than other places.

Nice hotel! The only comment I have is to have filtered water either on the floors or in the lobby. it was tiresome and uncomfortable to keep asking the filtered water in the restaurant.

Hotel is extremely clean and staff amazing...super friendly and incredibly obliging. Great having kitchen facilities (we were there for 3 nights so it comes in handy having the use of utensils, wine glasses etc. Everything is quality...also great to be able to have Netflix. My only issue was (as we were there for 3 nights), it would've been nice to have a clearer view out of the windows instead into the wall of another building so that we could have our curtains open more. If we'd asked they probably would've moved us...but hey, I didn't so my bag. We love the place and will definitely be staying again. Helen

Perfectly fine for business travellers, not great for couple on tour with two large bags. Room was small and had only one comfortable place to sit. Good location with many places to eat nearby and CBD a 12 min walk. My VIP status was not acknowledged at checkin, but this seems common in NZ hotels in the hotels.com listings. None have done so, and this includes about 10 different places. Biggest problem was a family near our room which allowed their children to play loudly in the hall. Not hotels fault, but be aware this not a very relaxing hotel.
