“Casa de Barco - Mountain Sailboat Retreat” is a 30-foot-long Catalina Sailboat built in 1988. Designed to live in it.



Wake up to stunning panoramic views of the majestic mountains surrounding the sailboat retreat. Enjoy the serenity and tranquility of the natural environment, immersing yourself in the peaceful atmosphere and marveling at the beauty of the landscape. Whether it's the soft morning mist or the vibrant hues of the sunset, the mountain vistas will leave a lasting impression.



Inside you'll find a kitchenette with all the cooking accessories, microwave oven, small fridge, 2-burner gas stove, TV, air conditioner, dining space, bed and bathroom with shower.



On the outside, a wood deck extends the living space of this boat. Comes with chairs for sunbathing or appreciating a starry night. The area is surrounded by trees and grass.



At night, the light strings creates a beautiful atmosphere, perfect to listen to the extraordinary melody of the field (birds, coquíes, etc).



This property is in a very accessible area (about 3-5 minutes from the highway) but secluded enough to be a silent and magical place. Perfect for couples and people who love nature. Welcome!



The boat is located at 35 min drive from the airport and at 4 minutes drive from exit 32 at Guavate exit. Our guests will have access to parking at the green areas that surround the property. The Boat will be open upon your arrival and inside you will find a padlock with your key so that you can close it during your stay, if you wish.



The Hosts and Co-Hosts will be available throughout your stay, able to be contacted via text, call or the Airbnb app. Through these methods we will do our best to provide you with the best customer support imaginable, and we will make sure your stay remains as unforgettable and perfect as we intend it to be.



Situated in the heart of the mountains, the Mountain Sailboat Retreat benefits from its convenient proximity to Highway 52, allowing easy access for guests traveling to and from the property. Guests can explore the renowned "pork highway" nearby, where they can indulge in Puerto Rico's famous pork dishes. The location also offers close proximity to bakeries, shopping malls, hiking trails, historic sites, serene lakes, meandering rivers, and the breathtaking Carite National Forest.



The best way to get to the property is by car, although you can take a taxi or Uber service. “Casa de Barco” is located – without traffic– 35 minutes by car from the airport and 30 from the iconic Old San.



Owners live on the premises. Other “tiny homes” are located on the property, but each one features its own privacy.

This houseboat offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock. For a fee, parking is available.
