We have stayed here previously and thought it was fine. This stay was not. First, the things we did like... The woman checking us in was very friendly and helpful. The maintenance man outside was extremely helpful. There is a trolley that took us from the hotel to the October fest. Partly... the breakfast. There is a good variety of foods to choose from however the little milk cartons were out of date and tasted funny. The yogurt, even though not outdated was lukewarm. The negative parts... there was this ticking/creakng/gnawing sound for most of the evening coming from either above us or beside us. Not like a guest making noise, but like there was a working environment over there. Well past midnight we kept getting this chemical smell in our room. Enough to keep you awake. The toilet did not flush properly and you had to repeatedly flush. When these issues were brought up the next morning the woman checking us out really couldn't have cared any less. Sorry but you have lost a customer. Hopefully the review will help others. We don't like to leave negativity but the fact that we didn't even get an acknowledgement of our issues makes me think negative.

Hotel was nice enough, the free breakfast was great but the hotel hall way is very loud at night. People talking and slamming doors. No sound barriers at all.

Bengals trip :)

Stayed here for 2 nights on a mother/daughter trip to see the Bengals. The hotel was satisfactory in most categories except for the very noisy Saturday night. You can hear every door slam and ever conversation in adjoining rooms and hallway. Other than that, we felt it was safe and clean.

Hotel was very clean, staff was nice and breakfast selection was excellent! Only thing I did not like was not getting a receipt supposedly because I booked with a 3rd party, but I have always booked this way and stayed at Holiday Inn Express multiple times and received a receipt directly from the property. Location seems out of place as nothing is around but might be a great thing due to lack of traffic other than that GREAT hotel.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had!

As we arrived up on the hotel check in time, our room was not ready. The kids got ready to go to the pool and when I got there, there was children who was literally spitting in the pool, taking a pool noodle and doing inappropriate gestures one as my son to assault another one I brought this to the manager‘s attention However it is already been brought to his attention when we asked for clean towels we was met with they always need something that was the first thing we asked for

I did not stay. I called several times becaue i am handicapped and had a question about a referigerator in my room. No one would answer thier front desk phone. I called holiday inn customer service and got Horrible customer service. I then called expedia. They too called, they couldnt get ahold of the hotel and finally got fed up and cancelled my reservation and refunded my money.

We were told on arrival that none of the side entrances worked. Only 1 was broken. The push bar was completely gone from the stairs door on the first level. The room was dirty (including food in the space between head of bed and the wall) equipment in the pool was rusty
