No A/C

The room was nice. However the lack of A/C made the room go up to 75-80 degrees and it was miserable. Woke up sweating in the middle of the night which then had to shower with cold water cause it was so hot in there. Then slept with no covers. Honestly the worst sleep ever. Went downstairs to ask for help on the fan and if they had any extra normal fans, which they said they did not, then said leave it at 66 and it will then start in an hour. We did that and it did not. Honestly worst experience and it was so hot. No help or anything really. Very disappointed and work up sweating every morning. Did not make my weekend easy at all. Preferred to stay away all day from the hotel than go back cause it was so hot.

We picked this location due to the proximity to UC Health Hospital. I stayed at a similar Holiday Inn Express in Defuniak FL for a family function and had a great experience. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The general manager needs a class in customer service. Told us a bold face lie. When we booked the room we stated we wanted a room with a walk in shower, no tub. When we went to the room and found a tub I went right down and stated there was a tub. My husband has his foot in a boot because of a break. We were told there was not one. Now I think there might have been 10 to 15 cars/trucks in the lot. I went back to the room, and on my way we met cleaning lady and she said they had a lot of rooms with no tub. Very displeased with the service.

We truly enjoyed ourselves at this location. Our check in was super smooth & Ed made sure our rooms were clean & ready for us. My daughter and her friends enjoyed the pool & workout facilities. I enjoyed my comfy bed & quiet room.
