Villa Dogane is an elegant country residence nestled in the green heart of Umbria, among the gentle hills surrounding the peaceful hamlet of Croce di Castiglione, just a few minutes from Città di Castello. This authentic-style property, with its characteristic terracotta-tiled roof and central stone tower, stands out for its refined and welcoming atmosphere. The large private park surrounding the villa is an oasis of peace and beauty: well-kept lawns, cypress-lined avenues, blooming plants, and a play area for children make every corner a delightful place to enjoy at any time of day.

In a panoramic position lies the splendid private pool (80 sqm, depth 1.50 m), round in shape and fully fenced, ideal for children’s safety and perfect for relaxing under the sun. It is equipped with sunbeds, loungers, and an outdoor shower, and is open from June 1st to September 30th.

Among the most charming spaces is the covered loggia, furnished with barbecue and large dining tables to host up to 14 guests, a convivial and private area where you can enjoy outdoor meals surrounded by the peace of the Umbrian countryside.

Completing the property are a ping-pong table under the porch overlooking the pool and a large outdoor parking area that can accommodate up to 20 cars.

Internal Description

Villa Dogane is spread over 3 floors and consists of 6 independent apartments, ideal for ensuring privacy and tranquility for every guest. The entire property can sleep up to 14 people, has 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. All bedrooms are equipped with portable fans.

Upon request, 1 baby cot, 1 high chair, and 3 extra single beds are available to accommodate up to 3 children. Pets are allowed on request for an extra fee (maximum 2 pets).

Ground floor: The ground floor hosts the common areas dedicated to conviviality and relaxation. Here you will find a large and bright open-space living room, furnished with a sofa, armchair, and dining tables, perfect for sharing special moments together.

The spacious, fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook together just like at home: it includes a toaster, blender, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, oven, and stovetop, everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner in total comfort.

First floor: The first floor features three welcoming apartments, each tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort:

- Apartment 1: elegant open space with 1 double bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower.

- Apartment 2: bright and spacious, featuring 1 double bedroom, dining room with kitchenette, and bathroom with shower.

- Apartment 3: spacious and comfortable, including 1 double bedroom, dining room with kitchenette, and bathroom with both shower and bathtub, ideal for a moment of relaxation.

Second floor: On the top floor of the villa, there are three more bright and carefully decorated apartments:

- Apartment 4: cozy open space with 1 double bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower.

- Apartment 5: welcoming and functional, with 1 double bedroom, dining room with kitchenette, and bathroom with shower.

- Apartment 6: refined and panoramic, featuring a dining room with kitchenette, 1 twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower), and 1 master double bedroom with direct access to the terrace on the charming stone tower, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity except heating); Internet Wifi; house, garden and pool maintenance.

Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (300.00€); extra cleaning (20.00€ per hour); heating upon consumption from October to April; extra linen change (20.00€ per set); extra towel change (15.00€ per set); pets allowed (maximum 2 - 100.00€ per pet per stay); event fee upon request (2,500.00€). Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.

This villa offers its guests an outdoor pool and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.
