External Description



Villa Illuminata is an ancient farmhouse dating back to the late 1600s, located in the Umbrian countryside, a few km from Città di Castello, with splendid view of the surrounding landscape up to the Tiber valley.

Expertly renovated, it boasts a private fenced garden with lawn, loggias, barbecue and some dining areas, ideal for alfresco meals.

Inside the garden there is a beautiful pool (6 x 12 m, depth 1.50 m), open from mid-April to October, and equipped with: hydromassage, counter-current swimming, sunbeds, parasols, and external shower.

Guests also have access to a private outdoor parking for 9 cars (4 inside and 5 in front of the entrance to the villa), and a ping pong table, perfect for the entertainment of adults and children. Younger children can also play in the outdoor area equipped with a slide, swings, and rocking horses with springs.

Lastly, near the property you will find a lake (10,000 m2) where you can practice sport fishing (at an extra cost), and an airfield (800 m2) for small planes - touristic flights.



Internal Description



The farmhouse is spread over 2 levels and is divided into 5 independent apartments (a two-room apartment, three three-room apartments and a four-room apartment), each equipped with tv, fireplace and Internetb Wifi. The entire property can sleep up to 18 people, has 9 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

All the windows of the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets. 4 baby cots and 3 high chairs are available on request. Pets are allowed on request at an extra cost. Guests can also use the shared restaurant room at an extra cost. In a separate room of the farmhouse there is a washing machine that can be used by any guests of the apartment at an extra cost.



Apartment 1 (91 m2): Four-room apartment on the ground floor with independent entrance, it can accommodate up to 4 people and is the only apartment equipped for disabled people. It consists of: 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin); a large living room with fireplace, tv, and double sofa bed; a kitchen with cooking utensils; a bathroom with shower.



Apartment 2 (74 m2): Three-room apartment located on the ground floor with independent entrance. It can sleep up to 4 people and consists of: 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin); a sitting room with fireplace, tv, double sofa bed, and equipped kitchenette; a bathroom with shower.



Apartment 3 (62 m2): Three-room apartment with entrance on the first floor, it can accommodate up to 4 people and is made up of: 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin); a sitting room with fireplace, tv, double sofa bed, and equipped kitchenette; a bathroom with shower.



Apartment 4 (48 m2): Two-room apartment with entrance on the first floor, it can sleep up to 2 people and is composed of 1 double bedroom; a sitting room with fireplace, tv, single sofa bed, and equipped kitchenette; a bathroom with shower. It enjoys a suggestive view of the Tiber Valley and the Apennine slopes running between Umbria and the Marche.



Apartment 5 (70 m2): Three-room apartment with entrance on the first floor, spread over 2 levels and can accommodate up to 4 people. On the lower level there are 2 bedrooms (one double with a canopy bed and one twin) and a bathroom with shower while in the attic there is a lovely sitting room with fireplace, tv, double sofa bed, and equipped kitchenette.

The apartment boasts a splendid pnorama of the farmhouse\'s hillside lake.

Prices and conditions



Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity); house, garden and pool maintenance; Internet Wifi.



Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (300.00€); extra bed (30.00€ per day per person, up to a maximum of 2); extra linen change (20.00€ per person); continental breakfast (13.00€ per person); washing machine (3.00€ per wash); pets allowed on request (12.00€ per pet); use of the restaurant room. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).
