The hotel staff are wonderful. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. The food at restaurant Azul is delicious. The hotel is secure and we always felt safe.

We left 2 chargers for our phones and we told the front desk about it. They hung up on us and then every time we called back they put us automatically on hold and hang up the call. I was still in the area so I could pick them up. Also change would go missing

I recently stayed at Hotel Mesaluna, located conveniently close to the US Consulate, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, the hotel's proximity to the consulate was a huge plus, making it an ideal choice for visitors like me who have business there. The overall ambiance and services provided a sense of peace and comfort, which was essential given the often-stressful nature of consulate visits. However, I found the hotel to be quite pricey, almost on par with all-inclusive resorts. Given that many guests, including myself, are not there for leisure but rather for necessary legal matters, the cost felt disproportionately high. I understand that Hotel Mesaluna is a business, but I wish they could offer some consideration or discounts for visitors who are financially strained due to their circumstances. One aspect that significantly detracted from my stay was the lack of discretion among the staff, particularly at the front desk and transportation services. They would often ask intrusive questions about the purpose of our visit and the anticipated length of our stay. Moreover, they would share stories of other guests who had prolonged stays, which felt more like gossip than genuine concern. This was uncomfortable and felt like an invasion of privacy.Overall, while Hotel Mesaluna is a great option for those prioritizing proximity to the US Consulate, I hope the management will consider the financial constraints of many visitors and review their pr

This is the second time staying here at this hotel staff has always been very kind and friendly and helpful. The consulate office is only about a five minute walk. I also offer transportation in the area and if you need a cab, they also call it for you.

Beds were great.. room was clean. You can also rent a ps5 which is great if you plan on staying for a long time .. always book through Expedia they charge a higher price if you book at the hotel rather then online

Overall great service, but my only complaint is that if you want to check in early, you can’t. All check ins are at 3PM. We had asked if it would be possible to leave our luggage with them while we went out to walk, since we got there a few hours before check in, but they said to leave our luggage in the main lobby. We didn’t leave as we didn’t want to risk getting our personal luggage and belongings to get stolen or misplaced. It is a 5- 7 minute walk to the CAS and to the US consulate.

It’s a comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are friendly and the whole service is great. My only issue was that I needed to extend my stay. I had gone with one of the clerks at the front 2 days in advance. The clerk told me that I had to request the morning of my departure, and they would extend it for the same price. I followed her orders but when I requested an additional day, they did not honor the original price I had.
