Great Communication, Great Location, Not-So-Great Attention to Detail
My wife and extended family went to Cleveland for a weekend of football and fun and this home was in a great location to do just that. I had a few communications with the owner and that went really well. Replies were always prompt. Check in was a snap and very convenient.
The home was situated in a great neighborhood that looked well maintained and conveniently located near a few nice bars and restaurants. It was also quiet and safe.
My wife and I were the first to arrived before our family and we chose a bedroom that we felt would be appropriate as the our uncle probably couldn't ascend the steep staircase. We first noticed that the heater/AC unit in the room wasn't turning on and I contacted the owner immediately. The owner replied and said someone would be over. The solution was not one that I would have done myself but worked as a short term fix.
The rest of the stay was uneventful and we made due with the lack of amenities such as adequate amount of towels, some appliances that did not work, and a few construction issues.
As much as I enjoyed the location and the ease of checking in I would not stay here again.
