The staff was nice and the cookies we received at check in were AMAZING. Our room was clean and very nice as well. The only downsides we experienced with with the bathtub. It didn't drain, so after my friend got her shower, the water was up to her ankles. I didn't feel comfortable getting in with dirty water and making the issue worse, so I did my best to bath with the sink. It wasn't the end of the world, just inconvenient. Everything else was great.

This hotel was excellent 10 years ago when I stayed. The property has fallen apart. Had to move rooms because the toilet wasn't working. The smell on one floor was unbearable and once we moved only minimally better. The lobby was in much better shape but filthy. I will never stay here again. Great location though

Very disappointing from the start of check in. I booked TWO rooms adjoining. One room was on the 6th floor and the other one was on the 9th floor. the rooms were clean but the hallways stunk from the time the elevator door opened till we got in the room. Front desk person told that I can't probably get adjoining rooms because I used a THIRD PARTY booking company and not booking thru them. I told him that this was dead wrong because what if I would have little kids with me . what a joke

We stayed one night at this hotel so our interactions were brief. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable sheets and towels were clean and good quality yet the room and the halls were dark and in need of an update. The rug in the hallway on 15th floor was soaking wet, which gave a a musty, humid smell to the hall and the room. I enjoyed the short walk to the Rock and Roll hall of fame. The breakfast service at the hotel restaurant was slow The menu was good, the food was good, the one waitress was working hard but the kitchen was slow to get the food out for breakfast. It’s an ok hotel I’ve stayed at other Double Tree locations that were much nicer than this one. It needs an investment in upgrades and updating.
