Great hotel and price

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. There was a bunch of snow that day and I arrived early just to sit in the lobby and stay off of the roads. They immediately allowed me into the room and were so kind and accommodating.

The entire place smelled like pot. My children where kept up all night from people standing in the hallway screaming. Pounding on doors. Small children running rampant. The house keepers barely even cleaned the room before we got there. And when i walked into my room and smelled pot i went down and asked for the smoke spray and the management made a joke about how a older lady is always "blowing" and dont care. This establishment is supposed to be a strictly no smoking. Noise ordinance upheld and its not. Its trashy and ghetto. And their pool isnt working and hasn't been. The entire reason i booked the hotel for the weekend.

Great place, except for Breakfast

Its a very nice hotel with good kind and helpful staff. My only concern was the breakfast. I was expecting a hot breakfast, perhaps I misread the website. However, even for a continental breakfast, the choices were very low. No juices, only coffee, maybe hot water. It appeared mostly empty of any choices. I went out to get a breakfast for us. Not a problem, but very disappointing.

Fees and deposits are a surprise, and not in a good way. The $108 damage deposit is understandable given how irresponsible guests can cause property damages. The check in early fee is $10 per hour, but you wont find out about it until after check in. There is a fee for housekeeping and for pets: $27 per pet per day. Room condition is very good and comfortable with adequate linens, seating, and kitchen amenities. Some fees for using the kitchen also apply. Breakfast is my worst part of the review. On Monday morning the options include : hardboiled eggs, instant oatmeal, instant coffee, hot chocolate but no tea. There were choices between individually wrapped fig bars or tiny muffins. The vending machines have lots of unhealthy selections probably based on shelf life. Overall my rating is good and I would consider a return to this property in the future.

Very loud had to sleep with earplugs. Also smell of weed in elevator and stairwells was awful each day we stayed. Clean property but will not stay here agai. Due to these issues.

Extended Stay gave my paid for room to someone else. When I attempted to check in they said they had no record of my reservation. Expedia was able to determine that they had given my room to someone else. Extended Stay attempted to rectify this by having me pay more money for a lesser room. Where I come from this is called 'bait and switch' When I declined Extended Stay's ludicrous offer the desk clerk said they would charge me $108 for not staying in the room they gave to someone else. I am looking forward to the small claims action requesting treble damages for fraud, court costs, and compensation for the angst I am suffering over this issue. Don't stay here unless you relish this kind of treatment.
