I believe it’s a miscommunication with staff, one person told me I would get a receipt in the morning and when I went to check out that individual told me that I could not get a receipt and it will also take seven to a month to get my deposit back. I have never heard of anything like that before Another issue I had was the stains on sheets instead of complaining. I took it upon myself to just go downstairs and ask them for another sheet and I just changed the bed myself. Another issue was water was not hot enough in one room so they just changed my room

Buyer beware! Find another hotel

After trying two different rooms upon check in, I asked for a refund and stayed down the street. Save yourself the trouble and do not book this hotel! From a dirty pillow case to terrible renovations, and filthy conditions - including a pubic hair in shower - it is not worth it! Very disappointing compared to online photos of the exterior and main areas.

The hotel is in desperate need of repairs. My sister's room was allowing cold winter air in through a gap between the heater and window. We had adjoining rooms but the doors wouldn't open. My bathroom door was damaged, the curtain rod didn't fit so the curtain wouldn't stay closed, there was wall damage in the bathroom and chipped paint in the shower and carpet wasn't laid properly. The cushions on the sofabed were old and stained. It's a good thing my niece didn't come because I was afraid of what the sofabed actually looked like. If you're on a tight budget, this place will do. But if you have options, I would stay somewhere else. Not at all what I expected from La Quinta.
