This was my first time renting an RV and it was awesome. The fifth wheel was very clean and we had everything we needed. Donna was great at communicating and spent part of her evening working with the internet company to get the tv working. She is a great host! We will definitely book with her again when we are back in the area!!

Good stay

Original rental was not available due to repairs. Donna gave us one that was very nice and even better due to the face that it faced the lake at Mountain Lake Resort. We were only there for a couple of days for a Wedding but enjoyed it very much and hope to go back. It was so close to Helen it makes that trip worth going back for.

Beautiful surroundingnd

This was perfect for my husband and I to spend a weekend while attending a family member's wedding. The park was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, we were very busy with family activities and didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the amenities the camper and the park had to offer. Next time we'll make sure to spend time at the partk. The drive to Helen and to Cleveland was short and easy. Donna was very helpful in getting everything set up and ready for our time.

A Home away from Home

Very cosy and situated in walking distance to on-site activities. Very clean and lovely view in the trees, amongst the squirrels. Fenced area perfect for dogs to pop out and pee or be nosey! One minor thing that we would change if we could would be adding some bigger cutlery for the grownups. We had a fabulous stay.

Just What We Needed!

We truly enjoyed our short trip... a fall trip to the beautiful North Georgia mountains was just what we needed to relax and recharge. We had been wanting to get away for a few days and everything just fell into place to make it happen, including finding this wonderful little spot. The camper was clean and cozy, yet roomy-feeling and comfortable. We only needed the camper for the two of us, but the little cabin was so cute and would have been perfect if we'd had another couple or older kids with us. We were on the go a lot just exploring the area (plus it was cool/cold,) so we didn't really get to enjoy all the amenities the property offers. Lots of choices, though, so maybe next time! We loved just sitting outside on the deck and enjoying the beauty and quiet. On our last day, my husband said he had really enjoyed our little trip and hated to leave! (Words of high praise coming from someone who is more of a beach fan and not really a mountain person!) We looked at lots of places to stay, but kept coming back to this one. Thecamper was very affordable compared to hotels in the area, and also gave us a little taste of what camping might be like should we ever own a camper (something we've been thinking about.) The notebook/ guide was very detailed, and Donna was great to work with. She could not have been more helpful. The security guard and the nice lady (and her husband) at the clubhouse were very friendly and helpful also. Thanks so much for sharing your "home," Donna!) We hope to visit again!

Mountain Getaway in an RV

We enjoyed our first experience staying in an RV. Donna was a great Host and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The queen bed is very comfortable and it was cold when we were there and it has a mattress heater. We loved the lights around the deck and the fire pit. The fenced area for our dog was a plus. We are glad we stayed in such a fun place. Thanks Donna for sharing your place!

Nice place for a pet friendly stay.

The property is just as described. The fenced in area for the dogs is wonderful so you can leave your furry friends while you head into Helen. The camper is well kept and the bunk house is super cute for kids. Host was very nice. The better the camper is very comfortable also.

Waterfall vacation

Peaceful week

We had a great time at Michelle’s Mountain RV retreat. We were able to rent a golf cart right in the resort, which was very reasonably priced and is a must if you don’t want to walk or drive everywhere as the resort is huge. We didn’t use the amenities like the pools, water slide, diner or swimming in the lake but from what we seen they have everything right there and all the amenities are kept up really well. My girls did love to go over and pet the horses and hike up to the small waterfall. The only thing that would have made our stay a little better is a toaster and a second small frying pan. We ate at the RV for every meal and a toaster and second small pan would have made our meal times a little easier. But overall it was a great, relaxing trip with our teenagers and we would definitely recommend and stay again.

Cozy camper get away!

Amazing time

Michelle was so communicative and really made sure we got everything we wanted/needed. She allowed us to bring our pets and it made the experience so much more enjoyable to to have them with us. The resort and property itself was super amazing, relaxed and fun. Next time, I will definitely rent a golf cart from the resort so we can explore more!

We enjoyed our stay, there was plenty to keep our granddaughter (4) occupied and she had a great time. The bunk house she used for her "club house". The poll was nice, though we did not get to use the slide. Thank you to the host for a clean and wonderful stay!

Michelle is an excellent host

The property is absolutely beautiful. Even with the weird weather this year, on Michelle's land there are blooming azaleas, clemantis and rhododendron. Lots of beautiful, mature trees. The rv itself is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The wifi is so good that I was able to zoom conference for work better than I can at home. The rv is set-up very well for small to medium dogs and children. The deck area has extra slats to prevent falls and there is plexi-glass protecting the bottom of the very secure gate. It is a resort property but the quiet hours at night were respected and enforced. It was silent and very peaceful. It's also very safe. Everyone that I met on the property was super friendly. There are dog walking stations spread throughout the property, but to be safe I brought my own. Trash cans were abundant and maintained constantly. Like everything in the area it is an older property but you can tell it's lovingly maintained. As a host, Michelle is friendly, professional, caring and laid-back.
