Our stay was PERFECT! We couldn't have asked for anything else. We stayed in their suites which is totally equipped with anything and everything you might need. The ocean view on our private terrace was SPECTACULAR! Comfy beds and pillows. The pool was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My brother was on his honeymoon and they had a bottle of sparkling wine for him with a congratulations note. That was a very nice touch and he was very grateful. We loved that it was an ecofriendly place which is very important for us. They also had complimentary coffee/tea/fruits. There are absolutely no complaints. Thank you Marbella! We loved you!

Great option, don’t miss it

Great place to stay. It was a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and very peaceful. It has a great view. The deck was great for morning meditation or just to relax and watch the birds. The hotel is surrounded by vegetation so you can see lots of birds. The people at the hotel were very attentive and helpful. We really liked the hotel decoration and taking off our shoes.

Wonderful hotel. The location of the hotel is great - right in the middle of most attractions, which are within walking distance. The front desk staff all were professional, pleasant and very helpful. Our room was comforting. If you could only look at adding a TV with cable would be epic as there was no television in our room (sometimes I love to watch movies at night or on sunday morning)

Excellent one-night stay!

Fantastic boutique hotel tucked away above the small town! Great views, super clean and comfortable rooms. Nice relaxing environment, and great infinity pool. Would highly recommend, and will definitely stay here again when we are visiting in the future!

Treetop gem

Beautiful hotel high in the canopy of the trees close to all the excitement of Santa Teresa. You can clearly see the pride the ownership takes in the staff and property. Definitely a five star experience.

Nicest Hotel I have possibly stayed at.

Santa Teresa is beautiful, with lots to do, but I felt guilty leaving this hotel to experience Santa Teresa as it was an incredible accommodation. The pictures were incredible, but to see this hotel in person was even better. The staff from the moment we got there felt like family, the rooms were perfect, and THE POOL, WOW!!! I would travel to Costa Rica again just to stay at this hotel, even if I didn't hit the beaches.

Wish we stayed longer!

This hotel and the staff are phenomenal, easily the best place we stayed in Costa. It’s so clean and well kept, gorgeous views, great location. The hill up to the hotel is a little bumpy but if you’ve got an SUV it’s no problem. And it’s less that a 5 minute walk if you don’t have a vehicle. The owners are extremely helpful with booking activities or restaurant reservations, they also have great recommendations too. All in all, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Phenomenal!

Casa Marbella provides stunning architecture, gorgeous views, and stately rooms. Because the property is set up on a hillside, it is removed from the dust and noise of the main drag. There's a path to an adjacent restaurant/bar that has a lively crowd and stunning sunsets. The hosts are also very gracious and accommodating. I can't imagine a better way to do Santa Teresa! (Do note that because the property only takes cash for balances and the town's ATMs are unreliable and have withdrawal limits, you'll have to plan ahead.)
