Stay Before the Cruise

Spent couple days before our cruise. Location was great close & walkable to Cocoa Pier. Room was nice & clean. The Queen bed was more like a full size bed but comfortable not enough room for two people. Breakfast was mediocre, it will due if you don’t have time for anything else.

We had a short stay at this hotel before going on a cruise. The rooms were large and the bed was really comfortable. The property is older but well maintained. Lots of dining options nearby.

We had a great time from the time we checked in until time we left we felt safe. We felt secure. Staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good and the room was very accessible and most of all it was really quiet.

Good place to cruise out of

I thought this hotel was great for cruising out of Port Canaveral. They offered several shuttle vans to different cruise lines for $15 per person, one way. Cocoa Beach is directly behind the property and easy to walk to. Be aware that MCO is 49 miles from the property and it cost us $170 by taxi. I believe an Uber is $100. I thought the hotel was a bit pricey (over $300) for a basic, no frill stay. I guess I'm remembering hotel prices from before Covid as this was the most reasonable one I could find in this area. The included breakfast was basic and was a nice start before getting on the shuttle. We found the property to be very quiet, and we had a good night's sleep. The only complaint I have is that our toilet was full of toilet paper upon arriving. It didn't appear that it had been used so perhaps there was some type of plumbing backup prior to our arrival.
