Let me start by saying that this property is nice and located right on the beach with a great pool area and clean updated units. However, I did book an oceanfront unit which costs more than partial view or pool view units and I had no view of the ocean. We were given a unit on the second floor and the trees blocked out view of the beach and ocean. When I spoke to the front desk they said there was nothing they can do because they are merely a management company for the time share and that all higher units were for timeshare owners. Although we did really enjoy our stay, we feel like Expedia and Resort on Cocoa Beach should not sell this unit at the same price as oceanfront units that actually allow you to see the ocean and beach. Otherwise, the resort was nice and the beach was beautiful.

Excellent value. Beautiful beach. Staff was great. Need to police the pool area a little more for rude guests playing loud music and smoking. Cannot abide by inconsiderate people. The facility is wonderful and I have been there often. This time for a large family reunion

Pros: laid back, by the beach, efficient desk staff, relatively secure, spacious rooms, well-supplied kitchens. Cons: Super loud music poolside that you can hear inside your unit for hours into the night, gross old pilled up polyester bedsheets, bedroom curtains that do not close and light shines in all night. Game room closed due to A/C repair. 10am checkout.

The posting was false as it shows oceanfront views, however, those rooms are on the higher floors. They put expedia customers on lower floors where the views are blocked by trees with very minimal views. The additional charge for oceanfront rooms are not worth it.

The resort at cocoa beach has so many things for kids to do! We really enjoyed the pool, play area, and the theater. Also, being able to walk out the back door to the beach is definitely a plus!

I would stay here again. The room was great, clean, and stocked with needed kitchen items to cook for your family. They offer day pass parking if you have family/friends visit you at the resort. Walking down to the beach was a breeze. Close to many activities.

We had a good stay and found the staff friendly and everything very clean. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed for a family of 5. The kids loved the pool and basketball court. I was not a fan of the layout with the bedroom windows facing the hallways it meant we could not have the curtains open in the bedrooms or strangers could see right in and also there would be a little noise in the morning. The other strange thing is that we were warned they would be setting off extremely loud fire alarm tests, both mornings we were there at 10 AM and they recommended we be out of the room or wear earplugs. We got in very late the first night and we didn’t get into bed until 2:30am so I set an alarm for 9:30 and woke everyone up and put earplugs in and sent the kids out outside and there never was any alarm. Same thing the second morning. That obviously was not a very relaxing start to the day. We would stay again if they were not planning on doing alarm tests.

We’ve now been twice and love the property and how “self contained” everything is…do the kitchen pots and pans need a bit of an upgrade…yes. Does the property need to trim some trees so the beach/water can be seen by 2nd and 3rd floor “beachfront” rooms…absolutely. But the staff is lovely and they really allow you to have a great time. We will be back 100%.

We enjoyed the property so much. From the wrist bands for access to the pool to the friendliness of staff I can’t say good enough things about this place. Our condo we rented was perfect. There’s a grocery store just down the road and driving around was super easy. Direct beach access with daily beach service and towels was very helpful since we flew in and didn’t have a lot of beach items with us. Beautiful property we would definitely stay again.

One of the main reasons we chose this resort was because it clearly stated that the rooms were “oceanfront.” However, upon checking in, we were extremely disappointed to find that our room had no view of the ocean at all. Instead, we were staring at an overgrown wall of greenery. When we addressed this at the front desk, the team member casually explained that depending on the floor, you might not actually see the ocean due to the landscaping—something that definitely should’ve been mentioned in the booking details. She also stated that she couldn’t move us to a higher floor because all of the “true” oceanfront rooms were already booked—most likely by timeshare owners. If that’s the case, the resort should not advertise rooms as oceanfront if they don’t guarantee a view. Since it was already late and we were tired, we stayed one night—but we immediately canceled the rest of our stay. The room we were placed in on the second floor was dated, not very clean, and honestly just felt neglected. We found leftover trash on the floor in the bedroom walk-in closet and even saw an insect crawling around the bathroom. It was an uncomfortable experience overall. We ended up booking at another property that was actually oceanfront as advertised. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this property. If you’re looking for a clean, updated room and a guaranteed oceanfront experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary celebration trip at the Resort on Cocoa Beach. Our room was ready early. It was clean and spacious, with a lovely ocean view. The pool was clean with plenty of space for adults and families. Both the pool and hot tub were open early and late. We really appreciated and enjoyed evening swims. Resort uses wristbands as room keys and entry to pool and beach walkway - very convenient. Parking was convenient and free. Location is excellent - close to many great restaurants and grocery stores ( we had a full kitchen ). Beach was beautiful. We saw a rocket launch from the beach. We will be back!
