Hotel was ok, but far from great. Staff was rude and unpleasant. Acted like doing their job was an inconvenience. Line a mile long for waffles in the morning causing a blockage to every other breakfast item. Room was dirty. Carpet stunk and was sticky and room had a faint smell of urine. Overall it felt like staying at a disliked uncles cabin who tried to pick up real quick before you got there and was annoyed the whole time you were there. Only stayed one night, thank goodness. Wont be back.

Was with the grands for a tour cross country and the enjoyed The pool. Room was spacious. Issue with function of light switch. Employee have me the impression that i didn't know what to do.

Cody is an amazing town. We loved it and would have stayed longer. AmericInn was close to the rodeo and on the main street--so close to everything, because Cody is not big. Loved the "lodge" feel with all the taxidermy.

We liked the location, the coffee & continental breakfast, the outdoor swinging benches, Bubba’s BBQ at same location. We were disappointed there was no elevator and our room was on the second floor; a struggle for a couple of seniors pulling luggage upstairs. We had a maintenance item which was promptly addressed.

Nice staff, but should definitely not be open.

It does not appear that this hotel should be open. The grounds look abandoned and overgrown, with no upkeep and some litter strewn about. There was a massive pile of thrown out carpeting and miscellaneous junk and equipment right out front. None of the latches for security work on the exterior doors. water was leaking out the bottom of the toilet in our room. Just extremely poorly kept property. I paid a pretty standard rate and it was a national brand, so I definitely wasn't expecting the poor conditions of the hotel. It was very uncomfortable. I only took a few pics of the exterior. I should have taken more of the interior to document.

Convenient location, nice people

We stayed in Cody over the 4th of July. The inn was conveniently located and offered laundry, which was great. Not fancy, and the breakfast wasn’t great, but it was fine for our family and didn’t break the bank. The staff were also very nice.
