Remote check ins just don’t work and without a reception it took more than 30 minutes to locate someone to fix our broken key for our unit access. Told that parking wasn’t available (although included in price) and had to park in open lot near the beach about 100m away, while a resort tradie has his truck parked undercover beside our unit. Only onsite dining was closed on a Tuesday and had to drive to find dining options. Not what you expect for a ‘Resort’ in the middle of the holiday period!!
This was an appalling stay. On arrival to the apartment I found that is wasn’t ‘executive’ at all. The bed had insects / droppings in it, along with hair that was not mine. The light switches were dirty and on a 36 degree day I would have expected that the cleaner who apparently only left a short time before I arrived would have put the air con on for the incoming guests.
The towels were not clean and the hand towel had a full dog paw print on it. The dining table hadn’t not been wiped and was covered in sand and was sticky.
I contacted the host immediately and provided images to let them know there were some things wrong and still to date have not heard back from them.
The entire resort is old, run down and did not feel welcoming at all.
Would not recommend or stay here or with the host company again.
So overpriced. Had the host made contact promptly this would have made the situation at least slightly better.
Find somewhere else to stay!

I was very disappointed when our car had to be parked away from our unit as I have a shoulder injury and my husband has a heart condition and also because we were traveling down to Sydney we had Christmas presents in the car .
However the young lady on the phone was very helpful when I rang to complain , she asked if she could get us help from her colleague who was onsite .
She also told us to park our car near the unit unloaded what we needed to then move the car away .
Lovely room, but did not have a car park near room. Had to park away and carry luggage to room.
Unfortunately the shower had hair left in the drain and communication was lacking with regards to having it removed. A very late reply, after 8.30pm to offer for it to be cleaned. Said they would discuss with management on a compensation IF I was ever to stay again.
The room was difficult to find . The room was average and the bed was well below average . The ensuite had been done up . There was no parking anywhere near the room . The resort itself was well appointed but we were there to get a good nights sleep which we didn't get .
Dishwasher didn't work (dishes weren't clean and we had to re-wash them) and sofa bed was not usable due to being awfully uncomfortable (suggest bringing alternative bedding if you need it).
However the resort and facilities were lovely and we would stay here again.
Thankyou to Russ and the self check in was fantastic. thankyou so much, it was clean and a great rest stop for overnight. We wish we could have stayed longer. Great location on the beach too :)
