The room was very, very dark. Just 2 little bedside lamps. No overhead or desk lamp so could barely see and couldn't read or use the desk. Hair (not ours) on the bathroom floor. Very dirty under the loveseat cushions. Bed was comfortable.

This is a quaint local motel. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was homemade on site and delicious. We stayed two nights while exploring the Western Kansas Scenic byway. If you find yourself in Oakley, stay here!

Toilet was really dirty and with flies. Tiles were loose in the ceiling of bathroom and grid were rusty. Tub looked very worn. When you first entered the room it looked very good. Outside entrance. No elevator. Everything else was fine. Mattress was soft.
