The hotel smelled like mold and weed the minute you walked in. Our room has water damage in the bathroom and any “fixes” they had made were terrible. The carpets in the room and throughout the hotel were disgusting.

There was a lady in a wheelchair at the front desk that just made check in so difficult. Ended up being locked out of my room because she messed up my reservation and added me as a no show after my things were already in the room. Just made me feel like I didn’t belong in a diverse area. She should move to another area if she doesn’t like black people. Customer service was TERRIBLE I shouldn’t have to wait over 30 minutes to check in . The ladies at the desk that had to fix her issues were AWESOME in the midst of my frustration & they also saved the day. Restrooms could’ve been cleaner but other than that . Great stay !

Hotel is okay but needs deep cleaning in carpets

Positives: Cleaning staff works a lot to clean the common areas.Breakfast has scrambled eggs. 20 minutes driving from National Mall. Negatives: Waffle machine wasn’t working for 4 out of 7 days, suite carpet as well as main hall carpet and furniture areas really need deep cleaning. Also, my suite didn’t have do not disturb signs.

It needs to be more clean. There was mold on the ice machine tray, sink was extra rusty, the hand sanitizer machine by elevator was empty and the tray had dried up residue, and carpet needed to be vacuum.
