Check in was so smooth the person at the front desk was so kind. The room was lovely, a kitchen, dishwasher, and full size fridge and freezer!! Everything from the front lobby to the halls, and rooms were spotless. When we asked about restaurants near by the man at the front desk printed off a list of places and then came around the counter to tell us about them and highlight top recommendations. 10/10

The room was fine. Clean and tidy. But felt a little cold without full carpeting. It was well-equipped in some areas, but lacking in others. Limited towels and no towel bars to hang them on. No workout facility. Not an obvious entrance to the building. Not sure what differentiates this Holiday Inn from the one across the parking lot

Room has great amenities - a full-sized fridge, kitchen sink with dishes and cutlery provided and A USABLE DISHWASHER! Also get a Keurig machine in the room, and free premium coffee machine in lobby. Room itself was very nice, albeit the interior decoration and furniture being very dated. All except the bathroom, which was clearly renovated more recently and features plenty of vanity space and a full walk-in shower with real Dove brand shampoo / conditioner / body wash. Full blackout curtains on the windows, great for sleeping and privacy. It’s an extended-stay property, so housekeeping does not try to clean your room daily, more like once every 2-3 days I think. But they do check in on you every day just to remove take the trash out and make sure you have fresh towels, etc. Only hitch in my entire 3 night stay was that they were upgrading their online booking system with new software, so our room keys got deactivated and had to be replaced a couple times - but they informed us that would likely happen when we first checked in so it was not a surprise or anything. New key cards took 90 seconds to replace and we went on our way with no further issues. This place was a welcome change from the typical hotel experience - it was closer to luxury or 4-star accommodations, but I was able to find room rates online that were quite affordable… comparable to many of the lower-class hotels in the area. Candlewood offers great value, and I will definitely be booking here again!
