Room kind of worn out. There was a live bug in the bathroom. The ice machine was out of order and had to go to another floor to get ice. The people upstairs stormed around like a herd of elephants.

We recently stayed at the [Hotel Name/Location] and had an extremely disappointing experience. We were assigned two different rooms, and neither met basic standards of cleanliness. The conditions were, frankly, disgusting and embarrassing for a hospitality business. The most frustrating part of our stay was the response from the staff. When we brought these serious cleanliness issues to management's attention, the customer service was awful. We provided feedback hoping for a solution, but were met with indifference. We requested a full or partial refund due to the uninhabitable conditions, which was immediately denied. We have photographic proof of the state of the rooms and intend to share these images alongside this review on other travel platforms to warn potential guests.

This was the worst La Quinta I have stayed at. The building was generally worn down and no signs of an active attempt to repair it. Furniture was all chipped; carpets were dirty; elevator door opened extraordinarily slow, shower head was not attached properly, causing low water pressure, paint peeling and scuffed; hvac in our room was not working; tv stand was not pushed against the wall; empty kleenex box left in the room; toilet got clogged. It was bad, but the price was still in that mid range of a typical, well maintained La Quinta. Not going to give up on the company yet, but one more experience like that and I will.

This hotel was not clean, the staff was not professional. I did the pre check in so I didn’t have to spend all that time after a long ten hour drive and the staff member even after me telling her o did pre check in made me do the whole thing again. Our room was filthy and the lock was broken. There were many chips on the wall and the furniture was busted and mostly the room Was filthy. When we checked out I went to hand in my keys and make sure they didn’t need anything and the morning staff person had his feet propped up and wouldn’t even be bothered to speak and pointed to the key drop off. Then I got a text asking when we were checking out.

I decided to book stay at LaQuinta Inn and Suites based on prior experience with the Wyndham brand and LaQuinta properties. In over 30 years of traveling and staying at hotels domestically and internationally, I have never had such a terrible experience warranting an early departure. I booked two rooms for a family of five. One room was FILTHY. There were items in trash from previous guest. The toilet was disgusting and covered in urine. There were strands of hair in the shower, on the floors, in the sink, on the walls, and yes, even on the bed linen. The second room was freezing cold. The thermostat didn’t work. I went to pick up the room phone to call, and it didn’t work. Not a dial tone or anytime. What if there was an emergency?!?! There was no hair dryer and when requested, it never came. Hoping a trip to the pool would be better, we were met with a freezing cold space, with cold and dirty water, and the pool floor was in need of a scrubbing. Breakfast was basic, but the milk was bad. There aren’t cartons of milk, and whatever was in the pitcher tasted spoiled. Seeing one stink bug in the bedroom didn’t cause panic. Seeing two more later deeply disturbed my daughter, so she was scared to go to sleep and wanted to leave right away. I calmed her and told her we’d leave the following day. Thinking all was calm, I encountered multiple roaches throughout the night during trips to the restroom and at the sink to wash hands. Immediate departure at that point!

Pool was cold and had a green color. Asked for an extra towel and seemed like a difficult task. Breakfast wasn't appealing. When in the hall you could hear into people's rooms or you could hear them out in the hall. Bathroom was small, no room on toilet. There was $100 deposit. Not worth the money for the room.
