This hotel; is just not for me. The design is pretentious and the design and layout of the room was non-ergonomic in the extreme. The heating was unadjustable. The open plan bathroom is disagreeable. A Levantine restaurant is no doubt very trendy- but not to everyone's taste. A hotel needs to cater for a wide spectrum of tastes. There is no all-day cafe or bar-lounge. Drinks mid-day seem to be unobtainable.. The staff were pleasant and charming but not really able to make a difference.

Good Location

Our 2-night stay was good. The breakfast & service in the restaurant were both very good, and the restaurant was very clean. Our room was clean, but the carpets in the hallways definitely could use a thorough cleaning. Our room could also need a fresh coat of paint. The restaurants in the nearby area were mostly of the fast-food variety, and not to our liking.

Quirky

Quirky is the best word to describe the hotel. The space theme is witty, with many details that make you smile. The hotel staff were excellent (very helpful in arranging for bags to be stored before check-in). The room was very comfortable

Very central part of the city, with nearby transit only a walk away. This quirky and charismatic hotel really does put smiles on faces. Complimentary mini bar was a much welcome surprise after 13 hours of travel. Dining upstairs was wonderful and has spectacular views.
