Amazing place to stay! The location was perfect - 2 blocks from the train station, 1 block from the cathedral and Christmas market, and in the same plaza as amazing pretzels and a fragrance shop selling original cologne.

The room was very old, the toilet seat was broken and clearly been attempted to be fixed multiple times but failed. The beds were uncomfortable. The room and linens were clean but let down by the overall condition of the room. The staff were mostly unwelcoming but the location was perfect.

Rooms had old locks with huge keys n no chains so felt unsafe at night .the hotel stopped heat at night , when went down to complain the guy said to write on the email no . Same answer in the morning.at night outside the hotel door n also at reception 2-3 guys sitting n chatting n you could smell drink on them . Not a safe place . Only positive point is the location. Better option would be excelsior hotel nearby
